After experiencing multiple transmission issues and repairs with my vehicle I felt as though I would be left stranded once my warranty was up. Through a referral I met Alicia. She explained my legal remedies against the manufacturer and helped me to develop realistic expectations of how things would ...play out if I did choose to pursue legal action. She also explained what we should do to improve the chances of our case prevailing such as keeping detailed records, retaining any service orders and correspondence. Many months passed as we waited for another transmission malfunction but we knew Alicia and her staff were just a short call away. In late Fall 2017, Alicia notified me that the manufacturer was settling cases and we had a high likelyhood that ours would also be settled. She explained the entire process and gave pointers on what to watch out for, which I'm very thankful she did. During my vehicle return at the dealer I was handed a form stating i had received payment. Thankfully I knew what could be signed and what shouldn't based upon the advice Alicia had provided. In the end our settlement was more than anything we would have expected. Although the process was long and frustrating, I was glad I had Alicia to walk me through the process. The end result was definitely worth it.

I went into mrs. hintons office to get advice on a transmission problem with my 2014 car I won’t say which car company but it’s one of the big three.
