Candace has been a heaven sent. She is very comforting in a stressful time. You can sense her personal interest while always retaining a professional demeanor. I was always well informed and up to date on any necessary steps, paper work and upcoming strategy that would be used. She always discusses ...all possibilities positive and negative and is very open and welcoming to feed back and my opinions. When in the court room she handles each situation with its own personal approach to each situation. I have had two different judges on my case with two very different personalities. Her approach to each was adjusted to suit the particular style needed for each situation. Even when a twist was thrown in she was quick to adapt in stride due to her preparation. I felt very comfortable throughout the proceedings since Candace would again, go over all scenarios days and sometimes weeks in advance if possible. The paperwork submitted was very well written and always presented to me for approval prior to submitting which was comforting because I always knew what was going on and had a say so if I wanted a change which was rare. Would I refer Candace, definitely. I interviewed 4 attorneys prior to Candace from downtown L.A. Westwood, Studio City and Woodland hills. From the first time I met her she has treated us like family. She is very thorough and will answer the phone anytime of day and is always willing to address any questions I have. Don't let her kindness fool you though, she is a bulldog in the court room and will fight for you. She is in this for the ...right reasons and cares with her whole heart. She is very knowledgeable of the laws, even when dealing with the Department of children and family services. Most family law attorneys will not take D.C.F.S. Cases because they don't know the lingo, they don't know their way around that court room. I went through that system for two years and now my case is in family court. If your going through a custody battle with your ex or are dealing with Dcfs she is a well-rounded knowledgeable caring attorney. She is who you want on your side of you want to win and get what's best for your precious little ones.

Extremely hard to contact. Does not email back or return calls for weeks. Does not do what the client asks. Does not “fight” for you. We even tried to “fire” her and she showed up to court anyway. She was nothing but a nightmare and we would never recommend her to anyone ever. We even consulted with ...another attorney that was appalled at the way we were treated and ignored.
