We were fortunate to find and enlist Timothy O’hara to represent us with some permit and legal issues with a new property. Tim O'Hara assisted me in the due diligence and purchase of out of state replacement property during a 1031 exchange. He was instrumental in finding replacement property, conducting due diligence, examining all closing documents closely and even arguing with the seller's and escrow company regarding... mistakes in their documents. His focus on detail revealed a "mistake" on the part of seller's that escrow did not pickup upon. A mistake that would have cost me over $100,000. I will use Tim O'Hara for all my real estate and legal needs.

I hired to Timothy O'Hara to defend me at a hearing with the California Department of Insurance. Per his request I sent him signed contract and fee agreement (several times) and a $4,500 check. I also provided letters from a former boss and sibling. Tim was dismissive, disinterested and despite Ti...m rescheduling my hearing, failed to show up. Tim apologized profusely, stating he'd "never missed a hearing". Because of the nature of my hearing, his no-show constitutes gross negligence and may cause irreparable harm to my ability to make a living. I represented myself on 5/2/2016, but not being an attorney, was outmatched and defenseless. The reality here, Tim was dismissive and full of excuses. When you hire an attorney, you expect them to resolve the problem, not be the problem.
