I love being a criminal defense attorney.  I love the words "Not Guilty" and "Case Dismissed".  Nothing is more pleasing than to see my clients' faces when they hear those words.

I grew up in San Luis Obispo County.  I believe this has helped me be a successful trial attorney.  I know how to effectively communicate with our community's jurors.  I've tried some difficult cases and won.  I believe I won, in large part, because I know how to communicate with our jurors.

My trial success has helped in achieving exceptional results for my clients without going to trial.  I am always sensative to the fact that trial is extremely stressful for my clients.  This is why I always put forth maximum effort to resolve my cases prior to trial.  Trial scares many cirminal defense attorneys.  The District Attorneys know which attorneys are too scared to take a case to trial and which attorneys are not.  The attorneys who are known to take cases to trial and win end up getting better results without going to trial. 

It has been a privilege to help so many people in our community through tough times.  It has been a joy to see my clients better off at the end of the case than they were at the beginning.  I represent a lot of good people and I have developed a lot of relationships with my clients that I am sure will last a lifetime.  I aim to develop many more lifelong relationships helping my clients in this wonderful community.
