Biography
Mission Law Center was founded by attorney Louis Koory. Lou is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara and Loyola Law School. Lou has been practicing law since 1990.
Lou began his career working as a law clerk and attorney for Girardi, Keese and Crane in Los Angeles, working on cases for former U.S. Attorney Richard Crane and for noted Plaintiff Personal Injury lawyer Thomas Girardi.
In 1993 Lou went to work for the well-known Criminal Defense Attorney Arthur Barens in Century City before relocating to the Central Coast and starting to work for San Luis Obispo attorney James McKiernan. Lou handled the Personal Injury Litigation department for James McKiernan Lawyers until 2011 when the Mission Law Center was started.
Lou has obtained multiple six and seven figure jury verdicts in San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles and Santa Maria.
Lou is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and was named the Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2009 and 2011 by the Central Coast Trial Lawyers Association.
