Raised in central California, Clay graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a degree in Environmental Studies, thereafter working as a biologist for six years. Deciding to apply his research and problem solving abilities to the legal field, he attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, and spent the first years of his law career with the Law Office of Michael J. Lampe in Visalia, California. In his free time, Clay enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, and playing tennis.
