I have been an associate with Employer Advocates Group LC (“EAG”) in San Luis Obispo since 2006. During my tenure at EAG, I have represented clients in litigation and administrative hearings involving employment law, misappropriation of trade secrets, and business disputes, and has provided clients with advice and counsel regarding many aspects of employer-employee relations, including hiring, wage-hour issues, terminations, discipline, leaves of absence, and the content and application of employee policies and handbooks. My experience includes the representation of a diverse array of clients in employment law matters, ranging from individuals and small businesses to large corporations.
I am a 2006 graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the the Law, where I participated in Hastings’ concentration program and graduated with a Civil Litigation concentration. While attending Hastings, I received two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards and a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence. At Hastings, I worked as a research assistant and for the Moot Court Department and as a teaching assistant for Moot Court and Legal Writing and Research classes, and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Phyllis J. Hamilton at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
Prior to attending law school, I attended the University of California, Santa Cruz (B.A. 1997), where I studied Politics/Legal Studies, and graduated with honors from the Legal Studies Board.
