Biography
Mr. Kaestner joined Ghitterman, Ghitterman & Feld in 2015. He brings with him a wealth of experience, representing clients in personal injury, wrongful death, automobile accidents and injuries, dog bites, slip and fall, products liability, misdemeanor and felony criminal defense and wills, trusts and estate issues. In addition to his breadth of civil litigation expertise, since joining GG&F, Jan has created a niche defending injured workers in workers compensation fraud charges with great success. In 1994 Jan graduated from the Santa Barbara College of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of California. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Kaestner worked for many years as a general contractor serving the Santa Barbara area. Outside of the courtroom he enjoys golfing, vacationing by the lake and spending time with his family.
