Emily White and Kendra Thomas were the worst choice I made for my divorce. Here's why: -They told me they were serving my ex with divorce papers the next day and then I found out a month later that it never happened. -Sent me a bill for phone calls about child support and therapist and I have no ki...ds or a therapist -They had a paralegal when I decided to retain them that billed at a lower rate for most things, then shortly after I paid the retainer, the paralegal quit so all billing was at the highest lawyer rate -They fear mongered me into signing an insane temporary spousal support amount, 80% of my net income, which was miscalculated based off of joint income by my ex, business income, and mine. -Emily would joke about how clever my ex was with framing me for crimes and cyber harassments -They charged me $15,000 for hardly doing anything because they nickel and dimed me for every little thing, taking advantage of my ex's harassments and games. -Told me my ex could ask for what ever spousal support she wanted "because she wanted it" and if I didn't pay it, I'd need to plead the 5th in a restraining order trial even though I didn't do anything and was being framed, then I'd automatically lose and get a permanent RO on my record. I ended up firing this firm because they kept prolonging the case and couldn't tell me any estimate of how long it would be to end, not even a ball park estimate, meanwhile they were going to charge me every time my ex sent an email to Emily because Emily said she is required to forward the email to me which was 2 separate charges every time. I hired Ravi at Parmar Law firm, we filed a counter restraining order, we took the case to trial, the RO my ex framed me for was dismissed, and I got a 5 year permanent RO against my ex. It was the worst experience ever in an already bad situation.
