Claire Rochelle Highland

Claire Highland is a graduate of Western Washington University and Seattle University School of Law. As an undergraduate Claire’s focus of study was public speaking, which she excelled at. As a law student she discovered her passion for criminal law. She is admitted to both Washington State and California Bar Associations. Claire began her career as a public defender in Washington State, quickly rising through the ranks to the felony division. As a public defender Claire was exposed to a wide variety of cases and given abundant opportunity to take on challenging work and help her clients through trial. This work also allowed her to help people from all walks of life and learn about her client’s journeys and struggles, all making her a better attorney.

What sets Claire apart is that at the center of her work, and the reason for opening the doors to Claire Highland Law is that she wants to help people. Claire is not an attorney who will push you towards the most simple option. She doesn’t shy away from a challenging case, and is prepared to take on the most serious charges a person can face. With her experience and passion, she is prepared to take a case through jury trial. She will listen to her client’s story with compassion and help lead them to the best result possible through tough negotiations and fighting for them in the courtroom. Claire has developed positive relationships with her peers, even when working against them so she can get her clients results, and is known in the community for fighting hard for her clients.
