Hard worker

Didn't hold my hand, but got the job done. My settlement was much larger than i expected. Happy I listened to a friend and hired this guy. He knows his stuff

Excellent

Wow. Mr Schumaker was recommended by a friend who was a past client of his. I was a bit hesitant of the whole process. Once i met with Mr Schumaker and his staff, Sandra was the assistant assigned to my case, i felt comfortable. I felt like the office staff really held my hand through my back injury.... They helped with making sure I was medically taken care of. In the end I received a settlement and future medical treatment (which the other attorneys i spoke with said would be hard to get). I strongly recommend!

The Best

Larry H Parker ain't got a shot against Mr. Schumaker. About 3 years ago I went and saw Mr.Schumaker after I had trouble getting medical treatment for a back injury. Mr. Schumaker met with me once and mostly I dealt with his staff thereafter. But when it came down to my day in court Mr. Schumaker was... smart and aggressive. He got me a settlement way larger than I could have imagined. He comes across as a bit rough around the edges, but certainly gets the job done.

Angry attorney

After waiting 45 min in his reception area, I was finally able to look at him, not talk to him. Neither he or legal stuff were able to find my files. After that he had the nerve to take it out on me! Mind you am a handicapped person. He was screaming not only at me, his stuff, but also at his son who... was the receptionist. I'm a permanent disabled individual, and even if I wasn't I don't deserve the outburst of an incapable, rude and abuser wannabe attorney. Personally I think is time for him to retire if he can't take the stress his job requires. His age and overwheight might've something to do with it. But that doesn't mean or give him the right to take out on his clients. I got very depressed after that, not to be able to talk to my own attorney? What the heck! I have no one else!

Awesome Attorney

I was on WC, (carpel tunnel in both hands), for 2 years and they were ready to settle with me. The insurance company offered me $5000, I countered with $10,000 and they countered back with $7500. I accepted $7500 and signed final papers. I was told I would receive a check in about a week. Three week...s passed and no check, I decided to call Mr. Schumaker. I went to his office in Dec. 2008. I went to a Dr. appt. in March 2009 and had an appointment in June 2009 at the WC Appeals Court. I walked in that morning and Mr. Schumaker pulled me aside and said how does $58,000 sound? I was in shock, I said no way, did you really say $58,000, he said yes, I will take it. So Mr. Schumaker got me $50,500 more then I was offered from the insurance company in 6 months. I handled the case myself for 2 years as they were paying me every 2 weeks, paid my mileage on time and did what they should have. But at the end I just didn't feel the their offer was fair, however I needed money so I just went with it. After not receiving my final payment from the insurance company in a timely manner I called Mr. Schumaker. I have referred him to so many friends and everyone who have used him were very satisfied. If you are the type of person that wants to talk to you attorney everyday and tell him stuff he already knows, then he may not be for you. I only talked to him in Dec. 2008 and the day at the Appeals Court in June 2009. He knows whats going on and is working on many files all day. He is not a babysitter and doesn't need people wanting an update everyday, I can tell you that. Otherwise he is the attorney to use for your Work Comp. issues.
