Harmed my family law case and children immensely. Did virtually nothing for me or my children except damage us. Went on vacation a week after getting my retainer which she promised to return due to her dismal and non-existent advocacy and then did not return it as promised. Was essentially advoca...ting for the opposing party and kept trying to use scare tactics that the other side would utilize legal manuveurs which they never did. Financial knowledge and legal knowledge severely lacking. From personal experience I would strongly suggest you do not hire this attorney.

We have had minimal dealings with the legal system prior to our granddaughter being placed in the foster care system. We quickly found out that we had no legal status in the courts and had no knowledge of how the process worked. As foster parents, the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) ...job is to protect the rights and confidentiality of the biological parents. She was available for all our questions and was fully prepared for every court date. She is an excellent lawyer and all that you would expect from a professional office., but we were not prepared for her level of compassion, and her ability to truly empathize with us. She was a voice of reason for us during a very scary time. She reassured and explained to us what happened after every court date. Having an attorney, gave us the legal access to the DCFS proceedings to make sure our granddaughter was going to be taken care of and her needs would be met. We were so impressed with Michelle Evans that we invited her to the court adoption hearing. We can honestly say that with Ms. Evans you will receive the best legal advice and representation available. We have trusted her expertise with our most cherished granddaughter, and we are extremely thankful for all of her help. We truly hope we never need to hire another attorney, but if we do, the only one we would call is Michelle Evans
