Never resolve my arrest although my case was dismissed by the people

Eric was out for money. He withheld information and conversations he had with the DA. He was aware that my case was going to be dismissed but lead me to believe it was going to trail. After the case was dismissed, ask him to proceed with getting my arrest record sealed and destroyed. He basically ...said that I’m on my on and wipe his hands. I did all the leg work and filed a petition to seal my arrest but was denied and now Eric Luce is no where to be found.

Hello Anonymous, Thank you for your review, and for the opportunity to explain the successful outcome of your case. You seem to be upset because you wanted me to do free work for you after I got your case DISMISSED over two years ago. In March of 2018, you were charged with assaulting your hairdresser with pepper spray after you were unsatisfied with her work. Your case was referred to me by a colleague after you refused the public defender’s advice to plead guilty. As a favor to my friend, I agreed to take your case for an extraordinarily low fee. I then made it clear to the prosecutor that we would present a strong self-defense case at trial, and that I was looking forward to vigorous cross-examination of the hairdresser based on your version of events. I appeared in court multiple times prepared for trial. On the day before trial, I was prepared with my pretrial motions and let the prosecutor know that he was in for a fight. On the date of trial, we got our dismissal. We won. Also worth noting: 1) The fee I charged you was about one-third of the going rate compared to other attorneys; 2) My office is in Ventura and your case was in Bellflower – over 80 miles away; 3) After the dismissal, you were still not satisfied. You wanted me to sue the hairdresser - who you sprayed with pepper spray. I told you that I do not handle civil cases, and that you were unlikely to recover anything even if you were successful because she had no assets to recover; 4) You then wanted me to handle your subsequent petition to seal your arrest record (for FREE, in a courthouse 80 miles away from me) even though your generous retainer agreement specifically excluded any work beyond a dismissal. In closing, you are welcome for the deeply-discounted yet highly effective work I did to get your case dismissed. P.S. I'm not sure what work you did in terms of filing the petition to seal your record, but I believe you are entitled to it as a matter of right pursuant to Penal Code Section 851.91. There are many attorneys near you who would be competent to handle such a motion for a reasonable fee. I wish you luck.
