Cheri Lynn Kurman

Cheri L. Kurman is certified by the StateBar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Specialist inEstate Planning, Probate and Trust Law. Cheri's practice emphasizes EstatePlanning, Probate, Estate Administration, Conservatorship Law and Special NeedsTrusts.

Cheri earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from University of California,Santa Cruz and her Juris Doctorate from the Ventura College of Law, graduatingwith second in her class with honors. Cheri was admitted to the CaliforniaState Bar on June 2, 2001. During law school, Cheri was awarded the AmericanJurisprudence Award in several classes, including Wills and Trusts, Contracts,and Legal Writing. Cheri also won the Moot Court competition at Ventura Collegeof Law in 1999. Prior to law school, Cheri worked closely with clients as anestate planning paralegal, having earned her paralegal certificate from theAttorney Assistant Training Program at University of California, Los Angeles, in 1992.

One of only four women in Ventura County who are certified Estate Planningspecialists, Cheri brings the highest professional standards and deep humancompassion to her clients.

Cheri is an active leader of the Ventura County Bar Association, and currentlysits on the Advisory Council for the Adult Day Care and Family Services throughthe Camarillo Health Care District.
