Matthew Mark Haffner

I was admitted to the California Bar in 1989, after graduating from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.  After working in a large Los Angeles law firm, I started my own firm in 1997. HAFFNER LAW GROUP, a top-tier, boutique litigation law firm, was re-named in 2013.

I have become accomplished at trying cases and I am known for aggressive representation of my clients.  Some firms hire me at the last minute to try their cases.  It is important for potential clients to understand that the best trial lawyers obtain the best settlements.  I was able to hone my skills as a trial lawyer working mostly on the defense side, trying 36 cases with a record of 31 defense verdicts and 2 settlements after trial started.  I am now representing plaintiffs in all areas of personal injury.  My background as a defense lawyer is an advantage to my plaintiff clients because I know defense strategies, having perfected them myself, so I can better represent from the plaintiff side.
