Annie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a major in the History of Public Policy. During her undergraduate career, she spent a year abroad in Paris, studying at the Institut d'Etudes Politique (Sciences Po). Following graduation, Annie spent a year and a half working as a research associate at the Peace Corps headquarters in Washington, DC and a year teaching English as a second language in Prague, Czech Republic.
Annie earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame. During law school, Annie spent a summer as an intern with the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha, Tanzania. She also interned for the U.S. Department of Justice's European Civil Division located at the United States Embassy in London, where she spent her second year of law school. Following graduation from law school, Annie was a legal fellow with the Children's Rights Division of Human Rights Watch in Los Angeles, CA.
Annie practices in all areas of children and family law, with a major focus on children's issues, minor's counsel cases, custody matters, mediations, adoptions, guardianships and dissolutions.
