I was at my wits end with lausd district. All hope was lost till I found Tony who knew the system inside and out. He was patient, knowledgeable, compassionate, confident, smart and tactful. Parents of children with disabilities are burned out. Often children like ours are forgotten and we don’t all h...ave the fight in us to juggle it all on our own it also takes away from us caring for our kids having to advocate constantly while learning the system simultaneously. That’s why Tony is so amazing, he takes that burden off of you with his knowledge and his genuine passion to help our kids. I had a hard time keeping up with things and Tony took care of us. Don’t wait for the school district to do right by your child they are counting on you to give up. If you are contemplating legal action to advocate for your child take my advice don’t wait, contact Tony, he’s your man. Get that help, it is a long and time consuming process and your child doesn’t have the luxury to wait. My 9 year son with autism refuses to go to school in person he’s been in a virtual academy and likes it very much but still needs behavioral support. Lausd denied him his BII services until he goes back in person. My kiddo is scared to go back to school on campus so I was forced to pay someone with experience out of pocket to keep my son online. Tony got us a partial reimbursement, amongst other things and an IEE to be conducted at home so he can be evaluated for behavioral support at home. When the pandemic hit kids with BII’s lost that support and it was not beneficial to a lot of kids to have a BII online who were no longer supporting them directly. Things need to change, things need to start somewhere and the one size fits all in education is only a disservice to all kids especially for those who need more support services and accommodations. Without Tony we wouldn’t be on the right path. I urge parents to seek legal help, I highly recommend Tony for the task, don’t do this alone. You will look back and wonder why you didn’t do it earlier.

Mr. Tai Nguyen has been a helping hand with my child’s school district for the last 4 years. Going into IEP meetings alone and the district having 5-6 people representing them was intimidating. At times I felt steam rolled, looked at as thought I was the only parent who thought that way or convinced ...this was “legal” and I’m unreasonable. I was so blessed to have found Tony. He gave me the knowledge and support I needed to fight the district for what my child deserves and to hold them accountable. Tony is truly the best. He listens, provides honest feedback with support but most important he believes in our kiddos and knows they deserve to taught to reach their best potential. Tony is the best educational attorney in the Southern California area. He genuinely cares about the student's future and needed support. Tony will look out for all the missing parts of the past IEPs to discover what your child had missed. I am so glad that I met Tony because he fixed his IEP and help...ed us find the right support for my son. I called Toni for a consultation in regards to my child who’s in a special needs program. He responded the next day, we had a thorough conversation about my situation. Toni explained the laws in the areas of my situation which were more in-depth than other attorneys I spoke with. He went over the pro...cess of approach to resolve the issues. I haven’t decided on an attorney, still shopping around. But overall I’m considering hiring Toni based on the connection and understanding he have to resolve and improve my child education.
