My experience with September is negative. September talks confidently but practices "Bait and Switch" and double bills, for her and her appearance lawyer, who in my case appeared without my authorisation, unprepared and had no clue about the underlying law on which the hearing was based. I found... September on "Court Buddy" website where she advertises herself and NOT her "Consumer Litigation Center". The web site on which she advertises offers "unbundled legal services at flat rates based on your budget". She doesn't practice what she advertises. I hired "her" to help me with a technical issue, which she did not disclose she had no prior experience with. In time when she should have rejected the case, instead of taking care of the matter herself, she sent an unprepared appearance lawyer to Court on a very important matter for me. When Jeff appeared, he (i) did not know anything about the case and (ii) have refused to talk about the case or even read what I gave him, and was (iii) rude and disinterested. This is not what i agree to retain her to do or the service I expected. When I objected Jeff said don't talk to me talk to September. Not knowing that Jeff admitted to not knowing anything about the case or underlying legal issue that he had no experience with, September lied to me that "they both worked on the preparation", which was inconsistent with what Jef admitted. Despite that I cancelled the agreement, September refused to provide refund and she claimed she burned through $5,000 retainer in couple of day. Capriciously, and in retaliation for a dispute, she without notice required by law filed a meritless motion to prejudice me. She did not effectuate proper service of it and refused to communicate about what she did, knowing what she did was wrong. Beware.

We HIRED this attorney to represent us for a Will and Trust case. The Retainer Agreement with this legal office was fully executed in December 2020. We can provide a copy of the fully executed retainer agreement as proof of hiring this attorney. Our experience with this legal office was negative ...because (1) this attorney does not take the time to properly evaluate potential clients, and (2) she delegates most work to the paralegal. (3) When the paralegal misrepresented our case to the attorney, this created extreme misunderstandings that created great confusion. (4) None of our questions were properly answered by the attorney and when we requested an appointment to have our questions clarified, we could not get this appointment because of the same paralegal who appears to run the show in this office, at the expense of clients... Several other clients appear to have had similar experiences as ours.
