Our family did an estate plan many years back when my wife and me bought a house. We wanted to update it to include our kids in case something happened to us. We also bought some other properties that needed to be added. A coworker colleague of mine referred Lalit Kundani so I called and we met with ...him for an initial 2 hour consultation (free). He went over my old plan and pointed out things where actually the law changed and why my plan would cost more. We didn't realize how much the law on this stuff changes pretty frequently so you either need to be on top of it yourself or get an attorney who will review your plans for you. Long story short, I ended up redoing my plan completely instead of updating it, to take advantage of some of the tax savings with these recent changes. The plan cost about double what I had paid initially, but worth every penny. My old plan would have sent my assets to probate and my old attorney basically had a "set it and forget it" mentality. Kundani & Chang said they will go through my docs regularly and let me know when the law changes and things need to be updated. Great experience working with him, they know their stuff!!
