Charles Michael Farano

I have used Mr. Farano's legal services on two occaisions, once for a civil case and once for a criminal matter involving a family member. In both cases I was very pleased with Mr. Farano's services. He made sure that he clearly understood our objectives, kept us informed, and demostrated knowledge... and professionalism. I highly recommend Mr. Farano.

Charles Farano was the biggest waste of my money. I paid $1750 after our first meeting and received absolutely no service thereafter. My case was a simple child custody case where my child's father wanted to secure custody. I had no problem with it. At one point I wanted to change a meeting time ...to allow my daughter to attend an after school sport. I figured this would be easy as it would also keep both parties out of traffic, including my daughter who has to be in a car for 3 hours every two weeks. I have never felt more alone then when I was in court with Mr. Farano and getting slammed by my child’s father’s attorney. When the other attorney was done I expected my attorney to defend me, or at least argue for the reason we were there. NOT A WORD!!! When the session was done we parted ways. He was cold as ice, and I was in tears. Not once did Mr. Farano council me or explain why he rolled over so pathetically. It was done and so was his work, if his work ever started. In addition to a poor courtroom experience his communications and his assistant’s communications were subpar. His female assistant literally got into a verbal confrontation on the phone with my fiancé when my fiancé called to request their office communicate better with our family. My fiancé could see I was frustrated and requested they keep in touch with me more often. She yelled at him stating they were communicating efficiently enough and proceeded to hang up on him (What happened to "the customer is always right?"). In addition to that, their office constantly emailed important documents to me and failed to follow up to see if I received them. One occurrence almost caused me serious fines due to a late response to a simple question that anyone would have been able to answer in the matter of seconds. At the end of the day I was very disappointed by this experience. I am 100% certain that I received NO services for the money I paid. If you’re considering hiring Mr. Farano save your money. Do something fun with it instead. I say...if you’re going to lose in court you might as well treat yourself to a good time. Being in the presence of Charles Michael Farano certainly is no good time!!!
