Buddy Behrent

This guy ruined my chances just so that he could keep my case from being transferred out of state (which would have helped me win). A fast talker from New York who's only concern is packing in clients to line his pockets. He forced me to agree to support payments that I could not afford (rather than ...present a case as to why I could not afford $5K/mo). This cost me my house, as it went into foreclosure since I was left with less money per month than the monthly mortgage. Later in the case, he refused to accept my requested course of action and HE WALKED OUT OF THE COURT HOUSE FIVE MINUTES BEFORE MY CASE WENT BEFORE THE JUDGE ! Outrageous. Stay clear of this firm.

I hired this attorney on the spur of the moment. My daughter was put in jail on a first offense for being an accomplice in theft. Though my daughter did not do the stealing she was in fact with a group of people that were. Needless to say, Mr. Behrndt took over this case and from that moment on it wa...s smooth sailing. He bargained with the DA and managed to even be quite friendly with him. He has this great presense about him and it seemed that all his colleages had respect for him. I felt comfortable. He managed to get my daughter out of jail and all she had to do was cal trans volunteering for a few months until she completed her mandatory hours. Mr. Behrndt also realized that we were financially hurt and he reduced his fees to us incredibly. He never charged us for a single phone call or email like all attorneys do. He set up a pay plan that we can live with and I feel good knowing that I have someone that I can call my attorney.

This man cursed me out & called my fam names while representing me. He lost his temper quite a bit. While he did do a good job for the most part, in the end he lost documents, forgot to follow up, didn't follow thru on promises and cursed me out for HIM getting my court date wrong. He did not apologi...ze for any of this. He is a loose cannon & I say you can find a more caring attorney elsewhere.

I hired this attorney for my custody issues and as a father I never dreamed I would get primary custody. He's aggressive and delivered. I'm pretty grateful. My ex lied for years about me having a drug addiction. My attorney hammered her on the stand in a way that she broke down in tears. It was satis...fying cause her allegations were lies. He proved it. He's a bit rough around the edges but I didn't hire him to console me, that's what therapy is for. Thanks Bill, your a rockstar!

I'm actually pretty surprised to read some of the bad reviews on this attorney. He's not with a firm he is a solo practitioner. I had very little money and I had an ex that wanted to take the house the cars and everything. I went to him in hopes for some advice not expecting to hire anyone due to my ...financial crisis. He put me on a payment plan, charged a small retainer and won my case! He was really aggressive in court. he is from New York and he's a little rough around the edges so don't expect cuddles and hugs. He gets things done! I could not have asked for better. I'd hire him again.
