OUTCOME: Dismissed after client took class and gave DNA

Testimonial: I was arrested for stealing items from a store valued at over $1,000.00. The high dollar amount of my case means it could have been filed as a felony. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to repre ... sent me because of his familiarity with the local courts and the District Attorney. Mr. Bruzzo contacted the District Attorney before the court date in an effort to convince them not to file the case as a felony. Mr. Bruzzo was successful because the case was filed as a misdemeanor grand theft (Penal Code Section 487 (a)) The District Attorney was initially reluctant to give me a good deal because of the value of the property taken. However, after speaking with the District Attorney Mr. Bruzzo was able to negotiate a DISMISSAL once I completed community service, paid a fee, gave DNA and completed a class. This arrangement had the effect of keeping a conviction off my record. As such I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any theft or criminal matter. SH Date: 4/25/11

Defendant charged with Hit and Run (Vehicle Code 20002(a)). Caused several thousand dollars of damage to another vehicle and left the scene. Testimonial: I was charged with one count of hit and run ... (Vehicle Code Section 20002(a)) for causing several thousand dollars in damages then allegedly leaving the scene. I could have faced up to 6 months in jail I hired Attorney William Bruzzo to represent me in this case as I was aware that Mr. Bruzzo has been very effective in representing people on hit and run cases. Mr. Bruzzo spoke with the District Attorney and in the end negotiated a civil compromise (Penal Code Section 1377) whereby the victim agreed he had been compensated and the case was DISMISSED. I am truly grateful to Mr. Bruzzo for his representation in this matter as it spared me from going to jail and having a conviction on my record. Also, this case could have been filed as a felony yet remained in the misdemeanor court. As such, I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any hit and run or criminal matter. OUTCOME: Never Filed

I was arrested for Domestic Violence under Penal Code Section 273.5(a) and Penal Code Section 236, False Imprisonment, both felonies, for an incident that occurred with my spouse in Orange County, C ... alifornia. My bail was set at $50,000.00. For the crime I was arrested I faced a maximum of three years and eight months in prison. After I bailed out of jail my family made contact with Attorney William Bruzzo whom I understood to be a very effective attorney and very familiar with the judges and the District Attorneys in Orange County. Mr. Bruzzo told me that he would start working on my case even before my court date and that he would try to persuade the District Attorney NOT TO FILE the case against me which would mean there would never actually be a court case. Mr. Bruzzo argued that the lack of any injury in this case, despite the allegation of battery by my spouse, might cause the District Attorney to have doubts about the provability of the case and lead to the non-filing. He contacted the District Attorney and took a statement from my spouse prior to the appearance date in court. Two days after I hired Mr. Bruzzo and before I even had to appear in court he informed me that the District Attorney had REJECTED the case and decided not to file against me. I NEVER HAD TO APPEAR IN COURT AND I HAVE NO CONVICTION. I am very grateful to Mr. Bruzzo for his efforts and I would enthusiastically recommend him for any Domestic Violence or Criminal matter.
