April Gilbert is not only a very talented lawyer, she also is a phenomenal human being. I was represented by Ms Gilbert over the course of roughly 3 years. My case was a matter which dated back nearly 20 years, and quite frankly the situation felt insurmountable. Ms Gilbert took the time to understan...d me, my family and who I had become. Over the course of the 3 years Ms Gilbert grew to genuinely care about my case and conveyed her heartfelt belief in me. I was in Big trouble. Staring 2-3 years prison in the face. 4 interviews in, I chose April. Followed her mitigation plan to a tee. Response time to my needs was very refreshing. She was able to navigate a suspended sentence, "no prison"! Subject to interim probation monitoring and short stint home... confinement with curfew. Enabling me to work and get life in order.
