Melissa Clark NEVER communicated with me throughout the 18-19 month period of my case and never updated my case notes herself. She took the position of arguing to drop my case a mere 5 days after I left an unfavorable review to the law firm she works for. She argued to her law firm there was a "co...nflict of interest" with other clients. But this was just a pretext to drop my case, as this was never brought up or hinted at before. Ms. Clark is an unethical and unskilled attorney that apparently is also prejudiced against certain kinds of civil right restorations; namely, firearm restoration cases. Moreover, her employer did not want to honor their flat fee, because the costs of my case was somehow exceeding their expectations. I don't just leave negative reviews for the hell of it. But this attorney is just plain bad, and as a prospective client reading this, you need to be aware of my experience. To be more than fair, I tried to get her side of the story and tried to contact her personally. She completely refused to respond. I will likely be seeking further action against this attorney.
