Biography
I am the daughter of immigrants and became a lawyer because I wanted to help my family and families like mine.
My values are those ingrained by my father – serve others and do it well. So long as you do, life will be good to you. I have a deep sense of purpose and find meaning in the work that I do for my clients. I understand my clients because I see myself and my family in them, I come from a humble background and understand the fears and emotions that may run through the mind of a working class family when they face a legal problem. It is important to me that my clients feel safe and have trust in me and in the fact that I will be their fierce advocate and that they will have a voice through me. I have a passion for helping others and advocating for them because I did it all my life – helping my family navigate legal situations, translating calls and writing letters.
My upbringing gifted me with a kind heart and an ability to empathize. This is important for me because it allows me to better feel and tell my client’s story. But I also have the heart of a lion protecting her cub. When my client is in my office, he or she will feel protected and taken care of but when I am in court or facing off the other side, I am the fiercest advocate for my client.
All of this is what makes me the lawyer you should choose to help you. I treat my clients the way I would want my father or other family member to be treated – with dignity. You are not just a number to me. If I take your case, it is because I believe in it and I believe in you.
I put the time into each case in order to recover maximum value for my client. My professional reputation is that of a fierce advocate yet compassionate person. I am picky with my cases so I can give each client full attention at essential points in the case.
My favorite part of my job is the satisfaction in a client’s face (sometimes they cry, most of the time they give me a big hug) when their case is resolved. But I especially like when my clients (because they are so grateful) bring lunch, flowers or even handmade gifts to my office.
The satisfaction of helping another cannot be measured in monetary value, it is priceless.
