Edward Sterling Wallace

Ed is the type of attorney, and person, that you always wish you could find but rarely do: professional, knowledgeable, accessible, congenial, keenly aware of one's situation and means and open to working with one within reason, and very easy to talk with both professionally and personally. To wit, I... consider Ed closer to a friend than not. Originally Ed was hired by an associate whose corporation was being sued for a construction defect. The lawsuit, however, also had named several others in their individual capacities, including me. Once the time for trial came Ed went ahead and told the court that he would represent all of us since, for the most part, his defense was the same for everyone. And Ed did this at no additional cost. Just the fact that Ed did this of his own accord without any request from anyone is a testament to the kind of attorney and person Ed is. He had seen the financial toil that the several-year-long litigation had taken and took it upon himself to help us out when he could have reasonably and justly requested further fees for representing us. But he didn't even ask for a discounted fee. So let that sink in. During the litigation, Ed easily countered the opposing counsel's arguments and we were able to impeach the plaintiff's testimony several times. Ultimately the ruling on the case was the one we were hoping for. I, obviously, completely recommend Ed and will always seek him out if I am in need of an attorney.
