While the majority of my practice has been in the area of Employment Discrimination prohibited by the Fair Employment and Housing Act, and the Civil Rights Act, I have also done Housing Discrimination and Business Discrimination cases.

Working before the Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, the California Labor Commissioner and the EEOC, I have represented both employees and employers in these administrative forums. I have stayed with cases through the Appeals processes, which can be lengthy. In my experience the parties really need the assistance of an attorney at these hearings. These include cases in the area of Wage and Hour laws and violations, which I have both pursued and defended.

I have represented plaintiffs and defendants in a number of other types of case that have led them to Court. It is not a pleasant place to be and you need someone experienced to assist you to present your case.

I am currently a volunteer mediator on some court panels, however, I also do private mediation at a reasonable rate. I have always gone the extra mile to get parties together to resolve their differences. I have attended the Pepperdine University Advanced Mediation program several times, 16 hours per year. When I was asked to assist at a trial, I actually mediated the case to a settlement during the trial, to everyone's satisfaction.
