From start to finish it only took about six weeks to have everything completed. Based on a close friend's referral, I reached out to SotoLaw to update my living trust. I was impressed with the firm's expedient & thorough process despite everyone working remote due to the pandemic. However, at one point in the process I felt very rushed...this was during the final review with the... attorney. I received the updated electronic version 1 1/2 days prior to the final zoom call and was told by the attorney's assistant that it wasn't necessary for me to read the entire document in advance of the call!! Needless to say, I read it entirely and had numerous questions. During the call, I felt rushed and sensed that the attorney might be irritated with my questions. They may not have realized that I had insufficient time to review this important, updated document. Despite this, I would still recommend Soto Law Group to others. I like their probing questions approach to get you thinking. The financial inventory document and 5 Wishes form is very beneficial. Overall, the information exchange between myself and Soto Law Group was seamless.

Dede helped my husband and I curate a trust and will for our family. I have had two trust agreements done in the past by attorneys who just followed a template and did not address the specific needs that I wanted addressed with my family. In addition, the prior two trust were not properly funded. DeDe takes the time to listen to your situation and evaluates the co...mplexities of your assets. She will give you various options on how to handle assets being left to children, charities, etc. Most importantly, she develops a complete lists of assets and accounts that need to be transferred into the trust and diligently follows up with you to make sure you have done the work to get your accounts properly transferred. In addition, DeDe has helped me with several other complex estate issues that arose due to the fact that my husband and I did not have a trust or will in place prior to his untimely passing. She was able to help me get financial institutions to transfer assets that were just in his name to myself and my children as needed. Also, after DeDe has completed your trust and/or will you can have any changes made easily.
