I came to Bentley & More when I was rear-ended really bad and I was having bad problems from the accident and the insurance company was playing to many games with me. I looked at all the other lawyers out there that you see on TV and hear on the radio that promise you the world, how much success they... have had in the past and how great they are. Bentley & More was the most professional one I had talked to that treated me like family and not just another client like all the rest. I sat down with them in our initial meeting, they explained everything they were going to do for me and how the process works and I mean the whole process. I was able to go home read all the paperwork and if I had any questions, they walked me through it all until I was perfectly satisfied and completely comfortable. All the rest of the firms wanted me to sign right away before I left and I just tried to push me through before I could really understand what was about to happen. Heaven forbid I wanted to take time and read and understand or have a question, just was not comfortable but they didn't care, all I heard was " Are you going to sign up or not. " So of course I went with the firm that showed me well done is better then well said, I signed with Bentley & More and I am so happy I did. They assigned me one of their associates Nico Mamone, he was a Rock Star Lawyer, with as I was to find out, an incredible reputation. Nico worked with me throughout the whole process as the insurance companies lawyers tried to dig in their heals and gave super low payouts. Nico was very forthright with me and told me what he wanted to do before he did it and told them NO at ever turn and called all their bluffs. Nico was very well prepared and ready to go the distance and prepare for trail, they kept playing games and moving our court date back but Nico never wavered. I had his personal phone number and was a complete bother but he never was not there and talked me through all my issues. This was a long process but knowing ahead of time what the process was and having him there to always answer my calls was a godsend. The trail was 1 month away after it had been moved back 3 times but we went into mediation and Nico was so ready and I mean so ready it was scary. So when our case was presented to the judge and client they knew they had to settle this case, they were going to lose and they didn't want to go to court. The case was settled in two sessions of mediation because Nico would not give in to their small offers, he had a number which we agreed on before hand and would not budge. They said they need more time to come up with more money and we settled in the first 2 hours of the second session for a lot more then our original number we had in mind. If that isn't a Rock Star, I don't know what is. The settlement is life changing and will ensure my family and I will be well taken care of medically and financially for life.
