Monica seemed excited to take my case and suggested I send all the documents I had over to her and then she would send me her financial agreement in return. I took the time to create a detailed, color-coded outline of events to accompany all the attachments. When we spoke next, not only had she looke...d over anything at all, but said, "I have a lot on my plate and don't want to read through a bunch of documents". I was looking for representation for a small claims court case with an ex-landlord. After being hired , she had sent a demand letter, and after some correspondence had asked for me to follow up with her the next day. After following up the next morning, I waited a week for her (as I figure she’s a bu...sy woman), and sent another email to ask for an update. Again, no response.
