We represent a number of small and medium sized companies who turn to us for the varied business legal needs, including acquisitions of other companies, contract formation and negotiation, employer-employee matters, secured interests, and other legal needs arising in the business context.

We regularly assist clients in forming "integrated estate plans", with a living trust at the core of the plan. Our planning also includes recommendations in regards to tax deferred retirement plans (e.g., IRAs, 401Ks, etc).

My thorough experience in the courts as a trial lawyer plus my substantive knowledge of estates makes me particularly suited for handling probate matters. It is unfortunate enough that a client finds himself or herself in probate, so we strive to proceed efficiently and cost effectively so as to minimize the risk of further burden for the client.

We regularly advise general and limited partnerships, as well as LLCs and corporations, in connection with formation of the business, structure of the business, ownership issues, complying with fiduciary duties, buyouts of owners, and dissolution of businesses.
