Powerful Attorney. Gets things done.

Excellent attorney. No nonsense. All business. Very trustworthy. She kept me abreast of proceedings. Very good in court. Very Professional. I think judges must have a lot of respect for her. I absolutely recommend Barbara A. Fritz. She succeeded in keeping my child with me.

Two thumbs up to Ms. Fritz!

Unfortunately, I had on/ off 10 year custody battle that ended in 2013 with me getting 100% custody of my kids and a zero contact order against my ex-wife; it was that bad.... Luckily, I was referred to Ms. Fritz in 2003 and retained her throughout my crazy ordeal with the courts, 730, forensic evals..., etc.. 10 years is a long time to get to know someone and throughout my court ordeal, Ms. Fritz always maintained her professional conduct and mannerisms by keeping me timely informed of relevant information on the custody battle roller coaster. Ms. Fritz also had multiple exposures to my kids and she was very empathetic to their very difficult situation, parental alienation by their mother, etc. and the kids, like me, had a good relationship with Ms. Fritz for the duration. When I needed to speak with Ms. Fritz, I could usually reach her and if I left a message, she would usually return my call within 1 day or less (weekends included). A custody battle is a very emotionally challenging ordeal and I couldn't see surviving it without the help of Ms. Fritz and accomplishing what we set out to do: protect the children, give them a sound and stable upbringing but not go after the zero contact (that was the Judge's doing). Throughout the crazy 10 years I spent in Family Court with unexpected court decisions (both bad and good), I've seen, heard and experienced many horror stories at the hands "lawyers" who represent the "best interests of the children" when in turn, they apply unethical conduct, are two faced, verbally insulting and in the end, are only after our monies for their own personal (financial) gain. Throughout my 10 year professional relationship with Ms. Fritz, I can whole heartedly say that if I had to do this again, she would be the first person I call to represent my (and my kids) cause and I would also recommend her to anyone in need of a divorce and / or child custody attorney. Court is a very unpleasant place to be but I was glad I had Ms. Fritz in my corner. Best of luck and try to avoid Court altogether; it's far easier on everyone.

A Blessing to have had Barbara represent my children in court.

Going to court and knowing a judge will make decisions for you and your children is very stressful let alone if it's not what you or your children want. Having Barbara A Fritz represent my children was the best thing that happened during such a stressful time of our lives. Barbara A. Fritz made my ch...ildren feel safe and comfortable enough for them to open up to her, and let her know exactly how they felt, and what they wanted. Barbara without missing a beat represented my children in court as if she was their voice. I am very please with the outcome of my court hearing and would highly without a doubt recommend Barbara A Fritz.

A true advocate for the child, extremely professional

Barbara Fritz has an immeasurable amount of integrity, intelligence, and empathy. Her goal is to protect the interests of the child, her client, and she is extremely fair in how she goes about this. The amount of time, effort, and downright unwavering concern she exhibited for my child during a ve...ry trying and horrible time was something I will never forget. My 10-year-old felt very safe with her because she knew her opinions and her thoughts and concerns were respected by Ms. Fritz. She's clearly 100% about the child and 100% invested in doing what is best in each individual case for each individual child. She spent a great deal of time talking to my child and getting to know her, she went was beyond thorough and fair. In court it was clear she was there to be an advocate for my child and her best interests and she fought for my child. Her integrity and commitment to what she does cannot be questioned.

She is the best if you want to stay sane

Yea I seen the other review here, she was my lawyer in a really nasty divorce and custody case. My case went on for 2 years, without her it would have be 4 years or more, yes she treats you like a mother but when your life is upside down you need someone to keep you in check. I read the review here, ...trust me I understand but just by reading the review I can see that person is in hell. Not the lawyers fault. Being a client is already frustrating and you tend to think the world should revolved around you. Trust me there are thousands in the same boat. you are not special. It's a job for her, need to tell yourself that, she is not being hired to make you feel good, although that is what you want. She tells it like it is. You can pay a lot more if you want endless meetings and billings that are meaningless. She is really a good lawyer and is respected as the no bullshit person. So they all listen.
