Viterbo Llopis Valera

Prior to forming Valera Law Office, Viterbo "Bob" Valera was an associate for one of the largest law firm in the country, Segwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP.  He was on the fidelity bond litigation and coverage group, where he handled numerous mortgage claims on behalf of Lloyd's of London, and employee dishonesty claims on behalf of Cumis.

Prior to that, Bob was an associate at the boutique firm of Cannon & Nelms, where he primarily defended bad faith lawsuits, litigated coverage disputes, and handled complex insurance claims on behalf of major insurers such as CNA, Nationwide, and The Hartford.  Other matters included litigating business disputes on behalf of Cleveland Golf, obtaining insurance benefits for policyholders as claims counsel, and representing insureds against liability claims and suits.

Right out of law school, Bob cut his teeth as an associate on the bad faith and coverage team of Tharpe & Howell, representing the various interests of Farmers Insurance.

Bob graduated from the University of San Diego, School of Law, where he was an Associate Editor with the prestigious Law Review.  He received his B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University, San Bernardino.
