Initially cordial and professional. Once the fee agreement was signed and retainer fee paid she became unresponsive, impatient, irascible and combative - even hanging up on me. She was long on declarations and short on explanations. She terminated the agreement without consent or providing valid ...good cause; and she did so before completing the work she had agreed to do and wanted to charge me for. She refused mediation and told me to hire an attorney. I thought I just had. In 30 years of professional life, I've never been treated so harshly and divisively by a professional service provider. I felt robbed of my retainer fee.
