Biography
Matthew Schlau is an attorney licensed to practice law in the state of California. He is one of the principal founding attorneys of Schlau|Rogers, a boutique California trusts, estates and business law firm. The firm's objective is to provide accessible and affordable legal representation that allows you the opportunity to reach your goals. Matthew and his partner and Co-Founder, Joshua Rogers, welcome the opportunity to discuss your individual needs to get started on planning for the future today.
In addition to Estate Planning, Matthew has an extensive background in civil litigation and has counseled private companies in hundreds of matters in all stages of litigation. Matthew has also advised companies in private joint venture and debt arrangements, and has served as outside general counsel to review, draft, and negotiate contracts and other documents relating to a wide range of exceptional and ordinary-course business transactions.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as a Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School. He is a husband, father, blogger, crossfitter, aspiring chef and really good at helping people achieve their goals.
