I was charged with a robbery in Orange County. Dennis was my public defender. I ended up replacing him with a private lawyer and won my case. Thats right some people do win jury trials in Orange County. The good - He sent someone down to the Mcdonalds to get the security tape that was key evidenc...e in my trial and lead to my acquittal. Funny how those crooked OC deputy's could not get such a thing. The bad - he always tried to pressure me into pleading to lesser charge of Grand Theft. It was not a strike and I could only have to do 8 months VS a robbery where the penalty would be a min 3 years and its a strike. But the point was I was not guilty. He was not nice and did not act like he wanted to help me and he lied to my parents on the phone. The Good - he will actually stand up and fight in court if he wants too. And no matter what he did get the tape that won the case for me. I guess I could recommend him if he brings his A game to town and actually decides he wants to try. He knows all the DA and Judges so maybe he can save your butt and get you a sweet deal.
