Krista Renee Hemming

 Krista R. Hemming, Esq., is the sole proprietor and attorney for The Hemming Firm. She began her legal career over ten years ago working as a Paralegal for a private criminal defense attorney before going on to work for one of the largest criminal prosecution office in the country. The Miami Dade State Attorney’s office.  Krista received two Bachelor degrees from Florida International University in 2011, one in Political Science and the other in Criminal Justice

In 2014, Krista graduated with honors from Whittier Law School with a concentration in Trial and Appellate Practice and a certificate in Legal Writing. She was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Board, Moot Court Honors Board and the Criminal Law Society.

Since Law School Krista has worked in civil litigation both as a defense attorney and as a Plaintiff’s attorney.

As time went on, and the more Krista became in trenched in the legal system the more injustices she found. Watching individuals be discriminated against or taken advantage of in a system that was supposed to be accessible by all prompted Krista to open her own firm. The Hemming Firm is dedicated to helping individuals gain access to the legal system and fighting for justice.  Our primary focus is on Civil Rights, Governmental Misconduct and Criminal Law.
