I met Heather back in 2015. I was facing a dozen misdemeanor charges, I had relapsed on to drugs and alcohol, and in a black out did some very dumb things. I was very limited on means, and Heather took my case and let me make payments. There was a mutual trust there, she knew I would pay her, and I k...new she would take care of me. She resolved my case in spectacular fashion, I served no jail time. I had two attorneys prior to her, and was looking at definite jail time. I’m always trying to be a good person stay on the path, I have struggled with addiction. I am now on the right path thanks to Heather. In the last decade- Heather has helped so many of my friends and continues to do so, and I continue to refer people to her. Heather has reasonable rates, and fights for you, until the case is resolved the way she wants it, and the way that she and her client agree upon. She does not settle for anything less than what has been agreed-upon and what is reasonable. She will go back to court as many times as she has to and fight. I think she went to court for me a dozen times initially. I paid her a flat rate- that is unheard of. Normally you pay retainer and they bill you every time they go to court for you. Over the years, Heather has dropped tickets for me and helped me with warrants. A friend of mine received her third DUI and she was quoted outrageous retainers by multiple attorneys. Heather charged her a reasonable fee and got an amazing outcome for her. At this point, Heather has probably helped dozens of my friends, and I consider her family. If you are in any type of trouble or have any issues going on, you want to get legal advice from Heather. She will speak to you over the phone and give you a good plan of action. You will decide which direction to head from there. You do not want to go this on your own. I have had families contact me and tell me how much they appreciated me connecting them with Heather. Because she makes you feel safe and protected and taken care of. Last thing I’ll say is- I don’t normally write reviews. Almost never. Due to the amount of help, I have received over the years and due to the amount of help my friends have received over the years. I felt inclined to do this. If you’re any legal trouble, do yourself a favor and give her a call.

My daughter made the mistake of using an illegal firework on the 4th of July (a roman candle). She faced a misdemeanor conviction and a substantial fine. Heather took the time to meet with the City Attorney on two occassions and worked out a deal that reduced it to an infraction and a very reasonab...le fine. My wife and I are so grateful and my daughter has learned a valuable lesson. Thank you, Ms. Schley. You are a compassionate professional.

I saw Heather while I was waiting for my felony case to be heard. She was the most professional attorney in a courtroom full of dozens of attorneys. When she addressed the Court on behalf of her client - everyone listened. She was articulate and she had a strong, confident presence. I was amazed at t...he charges that were dropped on behalf of her client. I spoke to her client while he was waiting for his paperwork from the numerous felony dismissals she got for him and he had nothing but great things to say about her. I had an attorney I had already hired and paid for but was so impressed with Ms. Schley I fired my attorney and hired her. That was the best decision I have ever made. She returns phone calls immediately, she always tells you-you are not bothering her and to call as much as you need to. She also charged me a flat fee (which was very reasonable) and I have never seen another bill from her since. She is honest and keeps her word and she will go back to court as many times as necessary to get what she wants. She literally went to court with me 7 or 8 times until she got an amazing resolution which ended up allowing me to stay out of jail and not lose my job. She really loves what she does and cares about her clients. I really did not think people like this still existed. I tell everyone I know to hire her if they need a criminal defense attorney.
