Ms. Baca has been sent in substitution of my attorney on numerous occasions. At every one of my hearings, she came unprepared. She refused to do anything more than vouch for her attendance and ask for a continuance. At one point, she asked me to lead my own case and represent myself since I knew th...e case better and because she felt uncomfortable in the court room. She couldn't concentrate on me long enough to be caught up to date as she was more interested in everyone bustling in and out of the court's halls. I'm sorry, but nothing excuses her behavior. She would ask me for advice and cowered behind me the entire time. As for other attorneys, think twice before you send this lady. She's on some substitute attorney service site which is how my attorney found her. Her knowledge is very limited and she consistently made rude comments about my counsel. She told me that because my attorney needed to send someone else, she obviously couldn't do her job and advised me to find new representation yet she couldn't even defend me properly in court? She also sent my attorney false reports. She would tell me after court a summary of her future e-mail and my attorney would read something completely different. She omitted pertinent facts to my case and cost me major losses in court. Be careful guys!
