Taylor is a true gem!

I really needed legal help on a situation with my independent feature film. I came to Taylor we had a very patient, thorough and in-depth meeting. He then carefully assessed my needs and proceeded in such a fashion that not only left me satisfied but excited to continue my relationship with him as a lawyer and to recommend him to others. Taylor really brought legal clarity to the table when me and my team were very intimidated and confused. He took the time to do the job right. I really felt like the client/lawyer relationship was extremely specific and unique to my needs and personality. That's so important in today's world. Taylor J. Howard, Esq. created A.E.I. Law in 2016 to offer business and legal affairs to artists, entertainers, entrepreneurs and innovators. Taylor is a artist of many forms, including charcoal & mixed media collage and video production. He also plays the alto saxophone and guitar.

He considers his main form of art entrepreneurship. He started his first business at the young age of eight years old and in his professional career founded the Jr. H.H. Corporation to provide business development consulting for the startup of many successful businesses in an array of industries.

He graduated with a Bachelor of the Arts from Marymount California University with a dual emphasis in business and arts & media. Taylor earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School on the acclaimed accelerated 2-year J.D. program during which he studied International Art Law in London on the study abroad program, fashion law during a winter session, and copyright law in the evenings. He then went on to earn a LL.M. (master of laws) in Entertainment and Media Law at the Biederman Entertainment & Media Law Institute at Southwestern Law School to further focus his legal education on business law and intellectual property law matters concerning the arts, entertainment, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

The perfect guy to have in your corner as an entrepreneur!

As a first time entrepreneur I find myself perpetually confused about all of the red tape involved in launching a business. Taylor is an invaluable ally to have in the process. He has a unique talent in being able to concisely explain 'legalese' for someone like me to understand it. He walks you through the process with patience and compassion and is worth every penny spent!

Outstanding legal assistance for a budding business

I've worked with a number of lawyers over the years, and my experience working with Taylor was the best one yet. Taylor created a partnership agreement for the new business I was starting. He was generous with his time explaining the finer points of the document, pointed out potential pitfalls, and, at my request, recommended a great book for me to learn more about drafting agreements so I am more effective in working with him on future documents. I wholeheartedly recommend him as your next business attorney.

My go-to "legal guy"

I recently applied for a few trademark registrations in the fashion, music and media space. Taylor Howard has been extremely helpful, articulate and patient, answering all of the questions and concerns. Compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, effective and professional.

Taylor Howard created a new complex legacy artist music business contract for me that made all parties smile and sign at first draft. Rock star. I've been in the music business 35 years, this potentially could have been a long drawn out legal negotiation. With his help we went straight to the goal in one step. I wish I'd had him around back in the day. Compassionate, caring, considerate, fair, balanced, kind. Usually, none of these adjectives are how we describe lawyers. But, my experience with AEI broke the stereotype. As well as being deeply knowledgeable, professional and thorough, you can just tell he's a good trustworthy human. I'm a new client for life.

Excellent lawyer. I used Taylor Howard's services for an agent contract, and then an option agreement.
