His primary practice areas include litigation arising from free speech issues (anti-SLAPP, defamation, first amendment), business litigation (breach of contract, trade secret, partnership dissolution, etc.), and appellate work. His appellate work has resulted in published opinions from the Court of Appeal, creating new precedents that afford greater protections relating to free speech. In the case of Bell v. He is the current President of the California Defamation Lawyers Association, and host of the California SLAPP Law Podcast. He was an Adjunct Professor at Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California, teaching "Litigation Skills & Strategies" and at National University in Irvine, California, teaching litigation techniques. I recently had a consultation with Mr. Morris, and I was impressed with his approach. He was not only kind but also incredibly knowledgeable. I appreciated how he took the time to listen carefully to my situation and asked thoughtful questions to better understand my concerns. After discussing th...

Aaron is diligent and thorough. He provides detailed responses to emails, and doesn’t limit the attention to your case to just during normal business hours. He explains the process in a way that easy to understand and with transparency. In my experience, his work ethic reassured me that I was in goo...

I consulted with Aaron and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He did not charge me for the consultation and I didn’t feel pressured by him to make any decisions. Other attorneys wanted to $250 before even listening to the issue. Highly recommend Aaron.
"Aaron provides zealous, professional, and highly competent representation of his clients. He is a very successful trial attorney over multiple matters. I endorse this lawyer."
"I have worked with Aaron Morris since 1998, first as his paralegal, and later as an attorney and his law partner since December 2007. Aaron Morris is extremely competent in every area in which he practices but, in particular, in the areas of libel, slander, internet defamation, and anti-SLAPP litigation. He is knowledgeable, efficient, bottom-line oriented, and genuinely cares about his clients and getting them the best possible outcome or resolution. I give him my highest endorsement."
"Although I am confident he has many attorney skills worthy of endorsement, I am specifically endorsing him for his knowledge and experience with anti-SLAPP motions. It's an under-practiced area and requires very specialized knowledge. Mr. Morris is among the most fluent attorneys I have met in this area in 23 years of practice. Mr. Morris comes with my high endorsement."
"Mr. Morris is clever, resourceful and extremely knowledgable. He's an asset to the profession and I strongly recommend him."
"I endorse this lawyer. Aaron is a terrific lawyer, with special expertise in the anti-SLAPP arena. If you have a complaint which might be subject to such a motion, talk with him first, or engage him if the motion has been filed!"
