Donald Franklin Miller Jr

I graduated summa cum laude  from Seattle Uni. School of Law in 2008.  In October of that year I became licensed to practice law in the State of Washington.  From that time until December of 2009 I was an associate with Hertog & Coster, PLLC, in Seattle -- the firm I interned for as a law student.  My practice at that firm focused primarily on guardianship and trust formation, administration, and litigation matters.  

I left Seattle in December of 2009 to pursue an opportunity in California, which is my home state.  After passing the CA bar in July of 2010, I was hired on as general counsel for Precision Optical, located in Costa Mesa, CA.  Precision Optical manufactures optics and optical components primarily for the defense and aero-space industries.  My practice here focuses on various areas including contracts, corporate governance, export compliance, and employment law.  This exposure to a wide variety of legal issues has been most enrinching.  

Although I anticipate remaining in CA for the foreseeable future, I will continue to maintain my license to practice law in Washington.
