Raymond E Brown

Raymond E. Brown is a 22-year AV-rated attorney with an exceptional trial record in both State and Federal courts. Over the course of his career, Mr. Brown has represented plaintiffs and defendants, and as lead attorney has never lost a bench or jury trial.

Among his more noteworthy accomplishments, he obtained a $2.1 Million verdict against a California city for the shooting death of an 18-year-old man; a $4.25 Million verdict against the County of Orange regarding the murder of a 5-year-old girl; a judgment for $4.3 Million regarding a dispute over the ownership of an Orange County business; and a unanimous verdict on all causes of action in a highly publicized business dispute in Texas, Options National Fertility Registry v. Michael Allon, M.D.  

In addition to his trial experience, Mr. Brown has an extensive background in appellate matters. He has successfully handled dozens of State and Federal appeals, including a number resulting in published opinions, including Soldano v. United States, 453 F.3d 1140 (9th Cir. 2006); Dial Corp. v. MG Skinner, 180 . 661 (9th Cir. 2006); Adkins v. Mireles, 526 F.3d 531 (9th Cir. 2008); D.R.S. Trading Co. v. Barnes, 180 815 (2009); Centex Homes v. St. Paul Fire and Marine Ins. Co., 237 23 (2015) and Hartford Cas. Ins. Co. v. J.R. Marketing, L.L.C., 61 988 (2015).

Mr. Brown has been practicing law since 1993 in the areas of personal injury, insurance coverage and business litigation.  Mr. Brown earned his Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University after first receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (cum laude) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from that same institution.  He is admitted to all State and Federal courts in both California and Arizona.
