I worked with Vivian on several immigration matters over approximately six years. Unfortunately, our most recent experience left me disappointed and facing a stressful change of attorneys during a pending case. The disagreement began when I asked about a $290 consultation fee for a call of up to 2...0 minutes, after being quoted $360 per hour for preparing an RFE response. Vivian explained that the consultation had a separate flat fee. I also questioned why a separate consultation was necessary given her familiarity with the case. The exchange became tense, and Vivian suggested engaging another attorney if I was unhappy. I expressed frustration, but subsequently paid the consultation fee, acknowledged her explanation, and explicitly asked to move forward with her. She nevertheless declined to handle the RFE response, stating that she felt pressured to continue. She offered to return the payment and transfer the file. I found the communication defensive and the unwillingness to work through the disagreement deeply disappointing, particularly after a six-year relationship. Having to seek replacement counsel with an immigration response deadline approaching created considerable stress for our company. I expected a more constructive approach to resolving billing questions and maintaining continuity on a pending case.

It is time to write this review since we have finally obtained our green cards. Vivian has helped us every step of the way, from opt to h1b to h1b transfer to green card. We even emailed her for steps that she was not directly involved and she was always available, knowledgeable and responsive. I rec...ommend her to many of my friends and she is the best at what she does. Hire her and thank us later!
