William Joseph Tucker

I graduated from Boston College Law School cum laude.  I was an Articles Editor for the Boston College Commercial and Industrial Law Review.  I have tried numersous cases in state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court, throughout California over the course of my career.  I have also represented parties in arbitrations and mediations, and for many years have also been an arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association.  I have also mediated cases for the National Conflict Resolution Center, formerly the San Diego Mediation Center, and was the Chairman of the Board of that organization from 2000 to 2001.  

For over 25 years I have had an AV-rating, the highest rating a lawyer can achieve. 

I have had a substantial and varied litigation, arbitration and mediation practice, handling cases involving claims for breach of contract, fraud, interference with contract, breach of fiduciary duty, conspiracy, conversion, federal and state securities law violations, banking diisputes,negligence, breach of guaranty, breach of warranty and other commercil disputes, admiratly/maritme disputes, personal injury and wrongful death, environmental contamination, unfair competition, wrongful termination and other labor disputes, including wage and hour claims, trade libel, copyright and service mark infringement, suits for injunctions, antitrust violations, unlawful detainer, lease commission and sales disputes, judicial and nonjudicial foreclosure and other real property litigation matters, and corporate, partnership and franchise disputes.   I have also represented parties on appeals.
