We are from South Africa and had an Immigration Visa pending to the US through the EB-5 process, and my son was excepted to study at the University of Alabama, while our process was pending. The study visa is an F1 visa and is a non-immigrant visa. My son was declined at his interview, and our world was turned upside down.
