Mira June Tyni

Mira Tyni has been a family law attorney for Jarvis, Krieger & Sullivan, since May 5, 2012.  Ms. Tyni devotes her practice to all aspects of family law and prides herself on the care she takes with each one of her clients. Ms. Tyni is experienced in complex divorces, child custody and support, division of marital assets, and domestic violence issues.

Ms. Tyni grew up in Orange County, California and received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Chapman University.  After graduating from Chapman University, Ms. Tyni was appointed as a member of the Governor Schwarzenegger’s Staff.  Ms. Tyni was able to observe the creation of law from the inside of government, and she was inspired to pursue her law degree.  During this time, Ms. Tyni also earned her private pilot’s license.

Ms. Tyni received her Juris Doctorate from Chapman University School of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Tyni law clerked for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office in their Misdemeanor unit, Family Protection unit, and Career Criminal unit.  Ms. Tyni also volunteered for Chapman University’s Family Violence Clinic and was a Judicial Intern for Judge Hayes.  During law school, Ms. Tyni received a Cali Award and was employed by Chapman University School of Law as an Academic Fellow for Research and Writing.

After law school, Ms. Tyni worked as a real estate attorney for Jackson & Associates.  Ms. Tyni was subsequently hired as a family law attorney for Hughes and Sullivan.  Ms. Tyni is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association and she has contributed to seminars related to child custody and visitation.
