DO NOTHING LAWYER

Andrew Klausner represented my in my divorce and through out the year long plus process he proved himself to be a complete hack and dishonorable each step of the way. He failed to advise me to remove my personal computer from my home while I was experiencing severe mental and emotional stress. My c...omputer was hacked into by my ex-wife's lawyer and used against me despite having a multitude of security passwords to protect anyone from accessing my personal information. The opposing lawyer James Jones Jr ran circles around Andrew throughout my entire divorce proceedings. Mr. Jones refused to use email or text or have an answering machine at his office thus forcing snail mail to become the only communication method. This was done purposely to lengthen and stall my divorce from becoming finalized and to line Mr. Jones and Andrews pockets with my hard earned money a took a lifetime to save. I had to pay legal fees from my Home Equity Line of Credit (borrowed money). Andrew calculated my income as if I was a salaried employee when in fact he was well aware that I was self employed and my income varied. Therefore the spousal and child support payments he recommended were completely false and dangerously high. Andrew routinely failed to return my calls throughout my divorce. I ultimately had to fire him and his law firm for complete incompetence and negligence. He and his lawfirm promised me that my entire divorce would cost me no more than $10 to $15k when in fact it cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees and settlement costs despite having an iron clad pre-nuptual agreement. DO NOT use Andrew Klausner or his law firm unless you want to burn your money and deal with incompetence.

Scam Artist

His positive reviews can't be genuine. This guy took my money and never got me a court date in 16 months. I hired a paralegal after I fired this guy, and within two weeks I got a court date. I spent two weeks schooling this guy on the difference between a teachers pension and a 403b. He was convinc...ed they were the same thing. The worst part about this guy is that I felt like he was working for the other team. I could go on and on, like how they didn't even check my stbx paper work. I had to catch the mistakes which was so blantant a blind man could have done a better job gathering documents. I can't imagine a worst lawyer on the planet!

DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY

DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY Where to begin, tough times, divorce is hard on so many and it is unfortunate there are attorneys like Mr. Klausner. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY or anyone that is associated with him. My first meeting he was going to be the person who “kicks down doors”, he mentioned (Aft...er looking up on-line my ex-wife’s attorney) that she would make for an easy case. Subsequently I wondered at times if he actually worked for opposing counsel, whom ran circles around Klausner throughout my entire divorce. Mr. Klausner stated, “It will be at least $5,000 but won’t exceed $10,000”. Three + years later, well over $60,000 spent, nothing resolved. His “partner” Ms. Johnson was primarily a paper processor but billed attorney rates. Throughout the process, I consistently was unable to get a hold of him, e-mails from him arrived at the oddest hours, weekends, late at night. Very unprofessional. The only consistent e-mail was my monthly bill. On many occasions, I had to re-send data to him that was already previously sent. I would typically just re-forward my old e-mails. His time and his paralegal would then re-bill for the time to process. I asked him after three years where were we as far as a total moneys spent. It took him six months to finally respond with a number. I had to request the amount numerous times. He mentioned how difficult that number was to produce. I ultimately had another person attend ALL meetings due to constant changes in what was said / promised and what was actually accomplished. Forensic accountant fees: I paid retainer fees for a forensic accountant, nothing ever happened with the accountant, not sure why? The accountant’s retainer fees NOT SURPRISINGLY went to Mr. Klausner. His office was always a shamble, in disarray, stacks of files. Mr. Klausner threw in life insurance and attorney fees. He recommended “his insurance guy” that ended up three times the cost of what I found on my own. Andrew showed up for a hearing in a T-Shirt. Everyone attending (other attorneys for other cases and myself) were appropriately dressed, he is completely unprofessional. Constantly mentioned “not worth going to court for” not sure he cared at all. I never do reviews; typically learn and move on. I had to submit a review in this instance for fear of others using him. Read his other reviews PLEASE, many similar stories. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY

I high recommend Andrew Klausner

I have been in Family Court more times in the last 11 years than I care to say. I went through three other attorneys the first 2 years, all of whom ended up being less than capable to handle all the issues involving the manipulative tactics of my ex. Unfortunately, like marriage, sometimes you don'...t recognize bad choices until you're well into the game. Those first two years ended up costing me hundreds of thousands of dollars and drove me into bankruptcy. The attorneys seemed more intent on increasing their billable hours than resolving my case in a cost effective and healthy manner. In 2010, I heard about Andrew Klausner and decided to give him a call. Hiring Andrew is one of the best decisions of my life. My only regret was that I did not do it sooner. Even though our divorce judgement was finalized in 2011, there have been ongoing issues with my ex who is unwilling to comply with court orders and is steadfast in creating chaos in our children's lives, and mine. After so much personal experience with attorneys and court over the last 11 years, I am well aware that even with the best attorney, things can be unpredictable and go awry. Andrew's confidence, extraordinary experience, sharp instincts, and caring sense of partnership with me consistently got me the best results possible without breaking my bank. Moreover, the stress of dealing with custody issues can be overwhelming, and his involvement in my case over these last 9 years gave me more peace of mind than I can ever express. We just completed yet another a 6-month, 2-hearing matter, and Andrew was successful once again. Actually, there were many issues in the matter, so there were multiple wins on all counts. Even bigger than winning in court, was the peace of mind I had due to Andrew and his highly professional, attentive and caring team at Klausner Johnson. I highly recommend attorney Andrew Klausner for any kind of divorce, or any legal issue for that matter. Andrew is not only highly experienced and knowledgeable--he's street smart and people smart. Andrew is extremely good at his craft, genuinely cares about his clients, is the epitome of integrity, makes himself accessible to his clients (how refreshing!!), and goes well beyond the call of duty to be responsive and effective. He charges more per hour than any of the attorneys I have used before, but don't let the sticker shock cause you concern... I spent far less money with Andrew and his firm in the last 9 years with many more hearings, documents, and issues while actually getting results than with any of the three prior attorneys in my first two years, not to mention the much needed peace of mind I got with Andrew representing me. He cares much more about his clients personal and financial well being than his own personal gain. Andrew is realistic, honest, and sees the big picture. He would tell me when it is not in my best interest to pursue an issue, and then try to help me find alternative solutions, even though it certainly would have lined his pockets--significantly--to litigate. And, when he does litigate-he is consistently successful with the best possible results in the most efficient and cost-effective way. Lastly, if you don't live near any of the Klausner Johnson offices, don't let that stop you. My court and residence is about 50 miles away from their offices, and it has never been an issue. In fact, on the rare occasion I chose to meet him in person at the office, it was always well worth the drive compared to the drive to the local attorneys I used in the beginning.

I was going through a terrible divorce and Andrew helped me through it. He was straightforward and concise which resulted in getting me full legal custody of my daughter.

"Andrew is an extremely experienced, knowledgeable, and talented family law lawyer. Over the years, I have seen him in court and always been impressed with his impeccable dress and demeanor. What makes Andrew such an effective family law attorney is that he has compassion for his clients, he is cool and calm in front of the judges, and works hard to always find the best solution for his clients. Anytime that I am unsure about the quality of a judge or a course of action that I am taking for one of my clients and have consulted with Andrew, he has always been spot on with his advice. If you are going up against one of the bigger firms in LA or OC, make Andrew one of your first choices."

"I have had the privilege of witnessing Mr. Klausner advocate in court...and it was truly a sight to see. He has a rare talent to combine wit, focus, and grit, all while holding extraordinary compassion for his clients. This only added to a reputation that I would hear about through other lawyers -- since they always seemed to have a great story to share about his ability to own the courtroom and get fantastic results. The ultimate compliment from a fellow lawyer is to say that you would hire them if you needed them. He certainly makes this list for many of us."
