Being From An Immigrant Family Himself, Owais Qazi Understands What It Means To Fulfill The American Dream.

Owais Qazi has been practicing immigration law for over a decade. In this field, his focus has been on business immigration which includes employment and investment immigration to the United States. Over the years, he has represented hundreds of corporate and individual clients in their pursuit of E-2, H1B, labor certification, employment based immigration petitions such as advanced degree professionals (EB2), and skilled workers (EB3). He has worked extensively with IT professionals, architects, engineers, designers and various other professionals. Owais has handled some of the most complex employment based immigration cases requiring requests for evidence, successor in interest scenarios, company's ability to pay issues, and effects of mergers and acquisitions on immigration petitions. Aside from business immigration, Owais also possesses a deep understanding of family based immigration issues such as consular processing of immigrant visas, adjustment of status, waivers, removal of conditions and battered and abused spouse cases under Violence Against Women's Act. Owais is also experienced with appellate work in the federal court system having represented cases before the District Courts and appearing before the United States Court of Appeals before the 9th Circuit. Owais is admitted to the Central District of California, and the District of Colorado. Owais obtained his law degree from Whittier Law School in 2004 and prior to that he obtained a bachelors of science degree in business administration from University of California Riverside.
