I had a few consultation with Karen which she gracefully assisted me with no charge . The complication of my case and being out of juristication of family law put me at the disadvantage of not being to hire her . It has truly been an honor to have the advantage of her expertise . What truly touched m...e beyond her knowledge of the law was her great compassion which I find rare in the legal system . I am eternally grateful for her assistance and directing me to another great lawyer .

My ex and I had settled our divorce 3 years and he remarried ( to an attny) who decided she didn't agree with what he and I had settled on so they "re opened" our divorce and he tried to change everything from custody to alimony. Hiring Karen was an awful decision. I found out later that she actually interfered with my ex and I wanting to settle earlier just so she could charge me more money and drag us through the mud for a few more months. She promised me the world and left me with a whole lot of debt. Would never work ...with her again.

I've worked with Karen on several cases over the years and her biggest weakness is taking and making things personal. She can't seem to separate business from personal and gets caught up in the wrong aspects of the case misunderstanding the issues and ultimately losing for her clients. I have fruit...ful relations with many other attorneys in our field but Karen isn't one of them.
